Indie Music Video Festival!

Hot on the heels of last year's successful event held
at the Blinding Light! Cinema with an additional holdover
screening at Ginger Sixty-Two. This year's festival
will offer more. Bigger and better with an international
scope, while still maintaining the D.I.Y. ethic of
independent artists and grassroots music scenes worldwide.

Artists
and videographers from Canada, the U.S., U.K.
Australia and even Malta have already sent in
their superb entries to IMVF 2003. Slated for
Vancouver screenings in the early fall, the
venue for this year's event will be at the Canadian
Independent Film Centre's theatre at the Scotia
Bank Dance Centre located in downtown Vancouver.
Our plans for the IMVF 2003 include, 2 nights
a program of 50 international videos, special
"banned/censored" segment, live performances
from fave indie artists, competition and workshops.
Concurrent screenings wil be held in Victoria,
Vancouver, Seattle, Toronto, Montreal and Los
Angeles, with possible future show in New York.
Overseas film festivals have also expressed
interest in screening our IMVF 2002 program
and future IMVF videos.
